In June 1999, Jared Schultz got into a physical altercation with a female employee that he was firing. He told her two weeks in advance that he was terminating her employment and so he had that time to secure his business property from her but didn't. On her last day she called him to tell him that she was going to take some files of his (intellectual property) that in reality were worthless in the aspect that she wouldn't have been able to sell the material in a short period of time or pawn it. He didn't call police but instead drove to his office and blocked her from leaving - she attempted to call police but he stopped her and he also pushed her up against a file cabinet and bruised her back. After that he changed his last name and went into politics. He is now the Colorado governor.
